A man who has moved to Blountville since the death of his wife, returned to his former Charles Johnson Road residence in Greene County Monday to get his belongings, but her ashes were gone.
The man reported to the Sheriff’s Department a suspect who he named admitting taking the ashes and told the victim he wasn’t getting them back. A Sheriff’s Department valued the ashes at $3,000
