Baileyton Alderman Sherrie Ottinger has been appointed to the Greene County 9-1-1 Board of Directors.
She will be the Baileyton representative on the 9-1-1 Board.
Ottinger is in her second term as Baileyton Alderman, having been elected initially as the first ever woman to serve as a Baileyton Alderman.
She and her husband live on a small farm in Baileyton.
Ottinger is also a freelance writer and author. She is a lifetime Tennessean, having been born in Maryville, and has lived in Greene County since 2005.
Her first meeting with the 9-1-1 Board will be in May.
