A significant road closure will be in effect for three days this week.
Grade crossing work was set to begin this morning and the railroad crossing at the Asheville Highway near West Main is closed through the end of the day Wednesday. Traffic will be detoured around the closure.
Norfolk Southern will be performing repairs and expects to have the crossing open for morning traffic on Thursday, April 3rd.
