The Town of Greeneville announced Thursday the railroad crossing at the Asheville Highway (70/107) near W Main/HWY 321 will be temporarily closed beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, March 31st through the end of day Wednesday, April 2nd.
Traffic will be detoured around the closure. Motorists are asked to please follow the detour signs or plan an alternate path before traveling in the area.
Norfolk Southern will be performing repairs and expects to have the crossing open for morning traffic on Thursday, April 3rd.
