The last day of Winter on Wednesday felt like spring, and before the day is over, the first day of spring will feel like winter.
Spring officially arrived at 5:01 this morning and brought with it temperatures in the low 60s. But those temperatures will be dropping throughout the day. Showers will be moving in as well and even a change of snow showers overnight. In the higher elevations, the wrap around moisture and cold air will allow for light rain to transition to snow showers across higher elevations late this afternoon into the overnight.
Light snow accumulations of a dusting to 1 inch is generally expected, however, locations at 3000 feet or higher could see isolated totals between 2-3 inches. Northwest winds will also gust between 30 to 40 mph.
