One person was flown from the scene of a single vehicle wreck Saturday at 5250 Baileyton Road near Lobo Loop.
A pick up truck left the road , crashed through a wooden fence then struck a tree. One of the large wooden pieces of the fence crashed through the windshield of the truck.
Highlands Air Rescue transported Larry Freeman to the Johnson City Medical Center. A condition update is not available. Freeman told investigating Deputy Nicholas Foster he had fallen asleep. Foster reports the driver was not wearing a seat belt.
The Greene County Sheriffs Department, United Volunteer Fire Department and EMS also responded.
