Light snow is expected in the lower elevations tonight with more snow in the mountains.
The National Weather Service says a dusting up to a half inch is possible in the valley and foothills. Higher elevations may see 1-3 inches. The highest peaks in the Smokies could see up to 5 inches.
The Nation Weather Service says that the snow flurries will likely start as rain showers. The low will be around 30 and gusts of wind as high as 35 mph.
Snow showers for our area will likely continue into tomorrow morning.
