Units from the Tusculum, Camp Creek and Sunnyside Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a camper fire Sunday afternoon on J. Mell Johnson Road.
The owners, Jesse and Ciara Knight, said they had been cleaning the camper in preparation for the season when they noticed smoke.
It’s believed a stove eye caught a cleaning sponge on fire, according to a Sheriff’s Department report.
No damage estimate was listed on the report.
