The Tusculum Planning Commission has approved a site plan for the Eternal Water facility , which will be located near the new Greene County Health Department.
Prior to the site plan approval Tuesday night, planners approved the sub division of the two lots on which each will be located.
Tusculum Mayor Alan Corley says the two lots for Eternal and the Health Department take up only about 30 acres of the total 336 acres planned for development on that site.
Planning Commission approval of the site plan for Eternal Water is contingent on approval of the company’s Storm Water Plan by TDEC.
Up next is a yet to be scheduled date for the Tusculum/Greeneville/Greene County Industrial Development Board meeting to consider Eternal Waters offer to locate in Tusculum. The company, based in California, also has a location in Cocke County.
