Retiring Greene County Director of Schools David McLain has had a busy week, having attended the Greene County Commission meeting Tuesday, County School Board meeting Wednesday and the Joint Board of Education on Thursday.
Each meeting spent time recognizing McLain for his contributions during his career as a teacher, coach, Principal and the past 9 1/2 as Director of Schools.
His final day as Director is Friday, January 31st. Dr. Chris Malone will officially assume Interim Director duties February 1st.
