The National Weather Service Office in Morristown continues to keep an eye on projections for next week , specifically January 7-13 when an Arctic Outbreak is expected.
Greeneville/Greene County EMA Director Heather Sipe forwarded the latest information to local authorities Wednesday, alerting them to the possible issues weather wise next week with a reminder of being properly prepared.
Sipe says if you remember the dangerous cold of 2022 and the effects on our immediate area; this upcoming 2025 scenario is being compared to that event
