Light snow is expected across the higher elevations of Southeast Greene County on Friday.
According to the National Weather Service in Morristown, accumulations between a dusting and two inches will be possible across elevations of 2,500 feet or higher. A total of 3 inches will be possible across the highest peaks.
Any accumulations of snow or other wintry precipitation are expected to be light. However, driving and walking may be difficult on some untreated roadways and paths across the higher elevations of the mountains. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities across the higher terrain. If traveling through the mountains, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
