Nearly $56,000 worth of heavy equipment was reported stolen.
Grand Rental of Greeneville told police a man they named in the report, had rented construction equipment on December ninth. The renter was to bring the equipment back the following day, but failed to do so. A signed letter sent to the renter’s address on file, but was unable to be delivered.
Reported stolen was 16 by 80 foot black trailer, a Mudd Buggy, a Smooth Bucket, and a Utility Track Loader. It was estimated the total loss of the equipment was almost $56,000. The victim told police that at least one of the rigs was equipped with a tracker.
