A controlled burn near the old Big Valley Farms off the Rogersville Road created a large plume of smoke visible for several miles Monday.
The Mosheim and Town of Mosheim Volunteer Fire Departments and the Greene County Sheriff’s Department both responded to the area around 2:30 PM, but the fire was attended and under control.
