An Asheville Highway man was arrested for drug possession following a traffic stop early this morning.
An officer with the Greeneville Police Department was on patrol around 1:30 AM and stopped a vehicle at the Industrial Road/Kiser Boulevard intersection due to the driver, identified as Dustin Gosnell, being suspended.
Gosnell gave consent to a search of the vehicle. As he got out, a baggie of a white crystal like substance identified as methamphetamine was seen under the seat. Three separate baggies of meth were tucked beside and under the passenger seat, as well as a glass pipe.
Gosnell was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
