The Greene County Sheriff’s Office took out warrants for a man who reportedly fled on foot during their response to aggravated assault on Oasis Road in Bulls Gap.
Deputies spoke with a victim on Wednesday around 8:30 PM. He said the suspect came to his camper asking if someone gave him money. The suspect reportedly began cussing, left the camper, and came back with a pipe. He allegedly hit the victim on the head and arm with the pipe and then left.
The suspect reportedly returned to the camper again, this time with two baseball bats. At this point, the victim had to leave his home and go next door. The suspect followed him, but that is when deputies arrived and told him to stop. The suspect said f*** you before taking off on foot into the woods.
Warrants were taken out for aggravated domestic assault, resisting/stop/halt/frisk, and evading.
