Keep Greene Beautiful and the Adopt-A-Spot Program provides volunteers, such as residents, clubs, civic clubs, church groups, businesses, and industries, to assist with the beautification of different areas throughout Greeneville and Greene County.
The program’s newest Adopt-A-Spot participant is Brandon Kinser with Triple B Lawncare. Kinser has adopted the area around the “Welcome to Greene County” sign on the Asheville Highway.
Keep Greene Beautiful, formed in April of 1986, was created to improve the appearance of Greeneville and Greene County. The organization works to achieve its goal of a cleaner and more beautiful community through educating children and adults on the importance of litter control and solid-waste practices. Keep Greene Beautiful has many programs and volunteer opportunities.
