Sheriff’s Deputies noticed a small red car crossing the center double yellow line multiple times Friday morning around 1:30. Deputies stopped the car at the intersection of Middle Creek Road and Seaton Road, and identified the driver as Christina Seaton, of Chuckey, with two passengers in the front seat.
Seaton reportedly told deputies she was unable to see well due to the fog. She denied anything illegal was in the car when asked and denied consent to search. The occupants were asked to step out of the car and a K9 alerted on the vehicle during a free air sniff.
A baggie containing approximately 0.17 grams of a brown powdered substance believed to be herion in Seaton’s change purse. A baggie with about 0.51 grams of a crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine was found in the front pocket of the passenger, Johnny Johnson of Chuckey.
Seaton was charged with Possession of a Schedule I Drug. Johnson was charged with Possession of a Schedule II Drug and both were taken into custody.
