Water distribution PODs reopen today on their normal Monday-Wednesday-Friday schedule.
Distribution sites are set up at the Caney Branch Volunteer Fire Department a 11423 Newport Highway, Scepter Recycling at 1230 Pottertown Road in Mosheim, Chuckey Doak Middle School in Afton, and Camp Creek Volunteer Fire Department on Greystone Road.
Wednesday’s PODs will be open from 3PM until 5PM.
Chuckey Utility continues to have their tanker distribution sites set up at the Farmer’s Daughter on the Erwin Highway. They open at 10 AM. This water is drinkable water, but you should still boil it for 3-5 minutes and let it cool before using for drinking, brushing your teeth, or cooking.
Churches, private organizations, and civic groups also continue their distribution of supplies and water. Listen throughout the day as we read those on the air.
