The Greeneville Municipal Planning Commission approved a site plan for a 72-unit apartment complex that will be located at 62 Harlan Street. Construction on the buildings should begin in 2025 with a potential opening in late 2025 or early 2026.
The developers, “Hall Group,” plan to start work on the site as soon as possible. Grading will begin this summer. Planning Administrator Randy Davenport said there is a fair amount of grade work that needs to be done so the site can be ready.
The site plan indicates three buildings, each three stories high with associated parking, a community building, a picnic pavilion, and a playground. Davenport said the complex would offer one, two, or three-bedroom options with different-sized apartments available. There will also be handicapped-accessible units on the first floor. There are no elevators.
Hall Group will most likely start moving dirt in the next few weeks, according to Davenport. They will be working on service to the site and finalizing the building plans, which still need approval.
