Two people were injured in a wreck on West Andrew Johnson Highway near West Greene Drive Tuesday morning.
The accident occurred shortly before 8:00 AM. A Nissan Rogue driven by 40-year-old Sarah Osborne was traveling eastbound on West Andrew Johnson Highway near West Greene Drive. A Toyota TX5 driven by 84-year-old Allen Humbert was exiting West Greene Drive onto 11-E, attempting to go westbound.
Humbert reportedly failed to yield and was struck by Osborne’s vehicle. Osborne tried to avoid colliding with Humbert and overcorrected, causing the Rogue to overturn in the median.
The accident report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol listed that both drivers were injured, but did not provide details.
