Two additional candidates filed nominating petitions just in time for the April 4th deadline in the August Primary Election, set for August 1st, 2024.
Jamie Tilson is running for Mayor in the Town of Baileyton for the Baileyton Municipal Election.
Peter E. Higgins is running for Council Member in Ward 2 for the Town of Greeneville Municipal Election.
Additionally, Noah Adkins of Morristown filed a certified duplicate copy of a nominating petition in the State and Federal Democratic Primary, which was originally filed in Hamblen County, the candidates home county. Adkins filed to run for State Executive Committeeman in Senatorial District 9.
