An investigation is underway after a body was found in a pickup truck early this morning near Interstate 81 in Greene County.
According to a press release from the Mosheim Police Department, officers responded to a welfare check on Speedway Lane shortly after 12:30 AM. Upon arrival, a deceased man was found in a pickup truck at the McDonalds at Exit 23.
The man is believed to be unhoused and resided previously in another state.
No further information was provided, pending positive identification and notification of next of kin.
