The Greeneville City Council will meet at 4 PM this afternoon and will consider approval for the rezoning of 21 properties located along West Irish and West Main Street.
The Greeneville Municipal Planning Commission recently gave their approval for the rezoning as Planning Director for the town Randy Davenport has stated that efforts are being made to fix properties that were not zoned correctly in the past. The properties will be rezoned from M-2 (High Impact Use) to B-4 (Arterial) Business.
The City Council has a fairly short agenda, which includes a mid-year update from the Greeneville Volunteer Fire Department. The meeting will be held at the Greeneville Energy Authority Building, in the G. Thomas Love Boardroom. The Beer Board meeting will be held shortly after.
