A Spears Dykes Road woman reported trash being dumped in a creek on Sunday.
The woman told the Greene County Sheriff’s Department that around 6:00 PM Sunday, she saw people in a dark colored Chevrolet truck dumping trash in a creek near her property. She recovered a bag from the creek and found an envelope addressed to someone on Doty Chapel Road. The woman went to the address and saw the vehicle that dumped the trash.
Attempts by deputies to contact the suspects have been unsuccessful, according to the report.
