The Greeneville Municipal Planning Commission will consider Preliminary and Final Approval for a plat showing the combination of four lots for the McDonald’s property, located at 521 Tusculum Boulevard.
Previously, the Planning Commission approved a preliminary and final approval for a tear down and rebuild of McDonald’s. The construction project is to begin in April with a timeline of about three months, according to Planning Director Randy Davenport. The site plan includes two drive-thru lanes and a slightly smaller building seating about 75 people.
According to the Civil Engineer, the sidewalk on Tusculum Boulevard will be replaced due to allegedly not being ADA compliant. The intent of the plat considered for approval is to remove the internal lot lines and combine the four parcels into one parcel.
The planning commission meets Tuesday at 9:30 AM at the Greeneville Energy Authority Building, located at 110 North College Street.
