A Bulls Gap man was arrested Friday after being involved in a wreck in the 10000 block of Blue Springs Parkway.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident around 6:00 PM and found William Gunter of Lautner Road leaning against his vehicle. There were reportedly beer cans laying on the ground around his vehicle and he had a pistol on his hip. The gun was taken off of him and placed aside for officer safety.
Gunter admitted to drinking and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He was taken into custody for DUI 1st offense, possession of a handgun while under the influence, and driving on a revoked license 3rd offense.
