A seatbelt stop resulted in Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia charges.
Officers stopped a car around 2:30 Friday afternoon, because the driver was not wearing a seat belt. Police reported a strong smell of marijuana coming from the car when they approached it. The driver, Brhenon Hickman of Limestone, was asked to step out of the car, and a search found a Marijuana grinder containing a green leafy substance, and 3 Marijuana roaches.
Hickman will be summoned to court for Possessing Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, not wearing a seat belt, and Failure to show Financial Responsibility.
