The Greeneville Municipal Planning Commission will have a meeting this morning and consider granting approval for construction at McDonalds, near the intersection of Tusculum Boulevard and Austin Street.
The planning commission will consider a “tear-down” and “re-build” project for the McDonald’s restaurant. The site plan shows the construction of an approximately 3,780-square-foot restaurant with 29 parking spaces on the existing site. It will be about 1 acre in size and have direct access to Tusculum Boulevard if approved.
Also on the agenda is consideration to grant consent for preliminary and final approval for a subdivision of a parcel of land located at the new “Shops at Greeneville” development. The parcel is located at the intersection of East Andrew Johnson Highway and Harlan Street. The subdivision will create two new parcels of land and will total almost 4 acres. One parcel is being created for a future commercial restaurant location.
The Planning Commission meets at 9:30 AM in the G. Thomas Love Boardroom of the Greeneville Energy Authority building, located 110 North College Street.
