An arrest for possession of drugs was made after a traffic stop Thursday evening.
Police stopped a maroon Mustang around 7:00 PM Thursday, due to the window tint seeming darker than the legal limit. After the stop, the tint was reportedly confirmed to be 17%. A check showed the driver, Doyle Rowbotham of Roller Street, to have a suspended driver’s license and no insurance on the vehicle.
A K-9 officer gave a positive alert for narcotics inside the vehicle. According to the report, approximately 3.3 grams of Methamphetamine was found in the glove box along with some cash. A passenger in the car, Crystal Arwood of Blue Springs Parkway, was placed under arrest for Possession of Meth.
Rowbotham was charged with Driving on Suspended license 2nd offense, Failure to show Financial Responsibility, and Violation of Window Tint Law.
