A Greeneville woman was arrested Sunday for driving under the influence after she was found passed out at a Gas Station on West Bernard Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene around 7:30 AM and found Shasta D. Neas at the air pumps with the vehicle still running. An attempt was made to wake up Neas by knocking on the window but she did not respond. A sternum rub was given, which is done when dealing with an unconscious person. The woman woke up but then fell back asleep while the officer spoke with her.
According to the report, Neas stated she did take blood pressure and seizure medicine. Sobriety tests were performed when Neas woke up again and she reportedly showed multiple clues of impairment. She was placed under arrest for driving under the influence.
