A camper was reported stolen from a property in the 7000 block of Cedar Creek Road on Sunday.
The victim was out of town for several hours on Sunday. When she returned home around 7:45 PM, a 43-foot camper was discovered missing from the front yard. Neighbors reportedly witnessed a white Chevy truck drive by their home going toward Cocke County with the camper attached to it around 2:00 PM.
The victim later reported on Monday a fifth wheel hitch that had been lying near a garage was also stolen.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft.
