A Greeneville man evaded Greene County Sheriff’s Office Monday after he was located with expired plates.
According to the report, the deputy was patrolling the Rogersville Highway and saw the man, Allen Lawson, driving with expired plates. The deputy attempted to pull Lawson over but he took off on the highway and drove for about 5 miles until he turned into Angel Hill.
Lawson reportedly stopped on Angel Hill and was arrested at that time. A glass pipe was found in the center console of the vehicle. He was given charges including Felony Evading, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Reckless Driving.
