Scattered storms will redevelop this afternoon in Greene County, according to the National Weather Service in Morristown.
The main concern with these storms will be local heavy rainfall with isolated flash flooding possible. For the rest of this week expect scattered showers and thunderstorms which will continue into early next week. Isolated stronger storms are possible, in addition to localized flash flooding due to repeated rainfall from slow-moving storms.
While the potential exists each day, the risk for strong to severe storms is elevated on Sunday with an elevated flooding concern on Sunday and Monday. Temperatures remain in the 80’s with lows in the 60’s. Stay tuned to Radio Greeneville for weather updates.
