A Chuckey woman was arrested after causing a disturbance in the roadway on Monday afternoon.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded to Williamson Road around 3:00 PM on the report of a woman acting erratically and causing a disturbance in the middle of the road. Upon arrival, Deborah Burger of Williamson Road, was reportedly in the middle of the road next to a truck appearing to argue with the driver. As the deputy approached, Burger opened the door of the vehicle and attempted to force her way in with the driver still inside. She was commanded out of the truck and she complied.
Burger appeared to be under the influence of drugs and was ordered to the ground. Once restrained, she reportedly continued to yell and talk incoherently.
Burger was charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
