A woman was arrested yesterday during a traffic stop after a gun was found concealed in her bra.
According to the report, officers initiated the stop on East Bernard Avenue and Walnut Street because of improper display of registration. Both officers approached the vehicle one on the driver side and the other on the passenger side. The passenger, Robin Blatz of Greeneville, was asked to step out the vehicle due to an unknown substance, believed to be some type of drug, spotted on the floorboard by the officer.
Once Blatz exited the vehicle she allegedly was unable to stand still while concealing her chest. When asked if she had anything in her bra, she responded she had a handgun and that she was a felon. Blatz stated she was returning the gun to a friend that left it in her home. She was instructed to put her hands in the air and the officer removed the gun. The report states it was loaded with a round in the chamber.
She was arrested and transported to the Greene County Detention Center.
