A benefit BBQ and silent auction fundraiser will be held for the Kirkpatrick family on June 7, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fraternal Order of Police Building. The Kirkpatrick family lost their home to a fire in September 2024 and their 14 year old son was diagnosed with cancer in January 2025. The benefit event will be by donations only. All plates will be carry-out but there will be places to eat at the facility if you would like to stay. The menu includes BBQ sandwiches, baked beans, chips, dessert, and a drink.
