A Chuckey man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop Sunday afternoon.
A deputy with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department stopped a vehicle on Brittontown Road for a seat belt violation around 4:45 PM. Mark Tolley of Pitt Loop was identified as the driver. A syringe was seen hanging out his pocket.
A search of the vehicle produced a pouch with gabapentin pills, a pouch with 1 gram of a substance identified as meth, and a baggie with .5 grams of an orange powder substance that Tolley stated was suboxone. A scale, baggies and straws were also found in the car.
A glass pipe was also discovered that Tolley reportedly threw out of the window. Tolley was also found to have a suspended license.
He was charged with simple possession of schedule 2, 3, and 5 drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence and driving on a suspended license 1st offense. He was also cited for a seat belt violation.
