Washington County Sheriff’s Office Investigators on Wednesday charged 11 women, including one from Limestone and one from Chuckey, with introduction of contraband into a correctional facility and conspiracy to introduce contraband into a correctional facility.
According to a press release from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation revealed that 41-year-old Amanda Osborne of Elizabethton obtained, packaged and left items of contraband, specifically narcotics, and arranged for them to be carried into the Washington County Detention Center by inmates. Once in the facility, the contraband was provided to an inmate, 30-year-old Kaylee Stout of Butler. Various inmates then reportedly obtained the narcotics from Stout. Osborne was taken into custody in Elizabethton and transported to the Washington County Detention Center on the outstanding charges.
In addition to Stout, the other inmates charged were: 43-year-old Michelle Whitaker of Limestone, 25-year-old Christina Porter of Chuckey, 34-year-old Brittany Lowe of Johnson City, 42-year-old Susie Danner of Elizabethton, 34-year-old Piper Webster of Johnson City, 40-year-old Twana Taylor of Gray, 24-year-old Sydney Cole of Johnson City, 49-year-old Sandra Clark of Johnson City, and 27-year-old Summer Bentley of Gray. Their bonds were all set at $20,000 and court dates are pending.
