Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash early Thursday morning along the West Andrew Johnson Highway at Hal Henard Road.
According to the report from the Greeneville Police Department, an SUV driven by Kayla Patrick was turning from the southbound turn lane onto Hal Henard Road around 8:10 Thursday morning when she was struck by a northbound pickup truck driven by Kayla Reyes.
Patrick’s SUV ended up in the median of 11-E while Reyes’ truck spun off a tractor-trailer that was waiting to turn and ended up on the shoulder. Both drivers had suspected minor injuries, with Patrick being taken to Johnson City and Reyes to Greeneville for treatment.
A child passenger in Patrick’s vehicle was in a restraint seat and not injured. The driver of the tractor-trailer, Tyree Henderson, was not injured.
