A Chuckey man was charged with introduction of contraband into a correctional facility following his arrest on Saturday.
According to a press release from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, deputies encountered 23-year-old Davan McNabb at an abandoned house. They discovered he had an outstanding warrant in Blount County and transported him to the Washington County Detention Center.
McNabb was searched in booking and a baggie containing mhamphetamine was located hidden in his pants. McNabb proceeded to tell Deputies the drugs were not his because the pants he had on were not his either.
He was charged with introduction of contraband into a correctional facility and possession of methamphetamine. McNabb is being held for Blount County in the Washington County Detention Center.
