A house on Dulaney Road in Mosheim was damaged by fire on Wednesday afternoon.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded to 5205 Dulaney Road shortly after 3:00 PM. An occupant of the home said that they could smell smoke coming from the living room.
After getting outside, the victims could tell it was the top level of the home on fire. Firefighters on the scene were able to extinguish the blaze. The fire was contained to one room in the house. No injuries were reported.
The fire was apparently caused by an issue with the wiring in the home, according to the report filed with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.
