The 2023 Statewide Food Drive is beginning on April 3 and will be held through the 21st for Food Waste Awareness Week.
This is the second annual Food Drive with last year being a big success. Donations can be dropped of at Food City on 905 Snapps Ferry Road, Food City at 509 Asheville Highway, and the Food City on 2755 East Andrew Johnson Highway. Items donated will go to the Greene County Family Resource Center for students and Families in the Greene County School System.
Individually wrapped items are preferred. A list of items needed can be found on our website at WGRV.com, but any items outside the list can also be donated, including money or gift cards. Contact Lamanda Weston at 795-1710 for more information.
