Police are looking into items shoplifted from Walmart Friday morning.
Police spoke with employees of Walmart, who said a man came into the store around 10:00 AM. The man reportedly concealed $433 worth of merchandise in a printer paper box. At the self-checkout area, the man rang up the printer paper and other items which had not been concealed. An employee attemped to stop the man, but he fled into the parking lot.
The man is believed to be from Kingsport and was driving a blue KIA Sorento. The incident is still under investigation at this time.
