A Kingsport man was arrested Wednesday night after he was passed out in a vehicle in a restaurant parking lot for several hours.
Deputies from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department went to Wendy’s in Bulls Gap just after 8:00 Wednesday night and found 36-year-old Bradley Tindle passed out behind the wheel of an SUV with an open bottle of liquor in plain sight. Restaurant employees said that Tindle had been there for an estimated three hours.
After waking up and exiting the vehicle, Tindle said he had just a couple sips of the liquor. During a search, officers found a bag that contained nearly 3.5 grams of methamphetamine and hemp products.
Tindle was charged with possession of a schedule 2 drug and public intoxication.
