A Greeneville man was arrested yesterday after it was reported that a vehicle was sitting in the turning lane in front of Walmart, on the East Andrew Johnson Highway.
Officers arrived before 5 AM and located the black Infiniti, which was sitting in the middle of the turning lane, a few feet away from the intersection. The driver, Justin Zilz, was found asleep with the vehicle still running. After getting woken up Zilz attempted to take the vehicle out of park and begin driving but he was commanded by the officer to turn off the vehicle.
He had an odor of alcohol coming from his breath and thought he was in front of Sams Club. Empty beer cans were found in the vehicle and Zilz also stated he was on medication. He was arrested by the Greeneville Police Department.
