Glen Hills Utility repaired two large water line breaks Friday and service was restored Friday afternoon. The outage affected customers along of the Asheville Highway, East Allen’s Bridge Road, Cedar Creek Road, parts of the 107 Cutoff, and the subdivisions in those areas.
Crews repaired a leak near Link Hills and another along Cedar Creek Road.
Like other utility districts, Glen Hills has found most of the water leaks have happened on the customer side of the meter.
