Breaking and Entering was reported yesterday afternoon at a church in Greeneville.
The complainant called from Appalachian Baptist Church on 370 Sanford Circle yesterday about 4 PM. Deputies arrived at the church and found a broken window, a knife near the door, and a pair of gloves outside the church. The suspects seemed to have entered the church through the window and left white powder substance like tracks on the carpet and a seat inside the church.
No suspects have been named at this time. According to the report from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, nothing appeared to have been stolen.
