A Mosheim man was arrested after a gun shot was heard outside a residence, while deputies attempted to locate the man for active warrants of aggravated domestic assault and violation of order of protection.
The suspect Joseph Monette was inside the home when deputies arrived about 6:30 PM on Saturday due to his active warrants. Deputies were forced to make entry after a gunshot was heard inside the home. They searched the residence and had to make entry through a locked bedroom door on the upstairs level of the home. Suspect Monette was inside the bedroom with a loaded pistol.
He was given verbal commands by deputies and was taken into custody.
