The National Weather Service in Morristown has issued a High Wind Watch for the mountains of Southeast Greene County.
The Watch will be in effect from Tuesday afternoon until Wednesday morning. Winds of 25 to 40 miles per hour, with gusts up to 70 miles per hour will be possible in the mountains and adjacent foothills.
Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
The valley locations will experience winds of 10 to 15 miles per hour, with gusts up to 30 miles per hour.
